Apple fritters

Ingredients for 6 portions:
200 g flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 medium egg, beaten
1 tbsp vegetable shortening, melted
180 ml milk
3 apples, peeled, cored, cut into slices
3 tbsp sugar
1 fresh lemon juice
powdered sugar, for garnish
Sprinkle 2 tablespoons sugar and lemon juice over apples. Sift flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt into bowl. In another bowl combine milk to well beaten egg. Slowly combine both mixtures, beating thoroughly, then add vegetable shortening. Cover apple slices with batter and drop them into plenty of vegetable shortening. Fry for 4-5 minutes. Drain and sprinkle with powdered sugar.

    Following the success of the 2017 edition, "Sommeliers on the slopes" is proposed again for winter 2018. For the initiative, which aims to enhance the winning combination of skiing and excellent local wines, there are six dates planned, scheduled between December and March.
