Apple Schmarren

Ingredients for 4 persons:
150 g flour
100 ml milk
oil for frying
butter
powdered sugar
100 ml cream
6 egg yolks
½ package vanilla sugar
1 tbsp rum
6 egg whites
½ tsp salt
40 g sugar
200 g apples, cut into small slices

Preparation:
Mix flour, milk, cream, egg yolks, vanilla sugar and rum into creamy dough. Beat egg whites with salt, then add sugar until peaked. Add to egg yolk dough. Heat oil in a big pan, then pour in dough, sprinkle in apples and fry until brown on one side. Turn and fry on the other side. Then put into preheated oven at 200° Celsius and bake for 3 to 5 minutes. Tear into pieces with a fork, sprinkle powdered sugar over Schmarren and then fry for a very short time in pan so the sugar caramellizes. Serve on hot dishes with some more powdered sugar.

    Sella Ronda MTB Hero Tour

    The Sella Ronda mountain bike tour is a tour with panoramic views of the peaks of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage Site. Thanks to the possibility to transport the bikes with the lifts, the mountain passes Gardena, Campolongo, Sella and Pordoi can be easily climbed. The descents are mostly on technical singletrack and only partly follow the road. Starting from Alta Badia the tour can be run clockwise or counterclockwise.

    Sommeliers on the slope

    The finest South Tyrolean wines on the Alta Badia ski slopes.
    Following the success of the 2017 edition, "Sommeliers on the slopes" is proposed again for winter 2018. For the initiative, which aims to enhance the winning combination of skiing and excellent local wines, there are six dates planned, scheduled between December and March.
