Summer in Alta Badia

A 360-degree experience

Alta Badia in summer features an astonishing colour palette. A burst of rich, warm and intense tones. It's impossible to imagine it in black and white. The panoramic terrace of the Piz Arlara Alpine Restaurant in Corvara, with its 2040 m a.s.l., is a perfect place to contemplate this scenery full of simple and imposing beauty.

The surrounding hiking trails and MTB routes of Alta Badia are ideal to whet the appetite. In this area, most of them are suitable for families with children (both in strollers and on foot). Summer mountain lifts facilitate the access to the plateau and allow to explore all of it, moving between the Movimënt Parks of Piz La Ila, Piz Sorega and Pralongià. To speed up the process get on an e-bike, taking advantage of the Alta Badia E-MTB Sharing network (for the little ones, it is also possible to rent off-road pushchairs).

At the same time, there are lots of exciting offers for experienced hikers and mountain bikers. Such as, for example, the Sellaronda MTB Track Tour and the itinerary of the MTB race Sellaronda HERO, that passes right in front of the Piz Arlara Alpine Restaurant.

Piz Arlara Summer Highlights

Savour your summer in Alta Badia at the Piz Arlara Restaurant

Playground and Animal Corner

A big surprise for the little guests
Swing, slide, sandbox, seesaw, wooden playhouse, springers... and, of course, a big lawn for having fun in total safety. That's what is waiting for the small guests of Piz Arlara. A cuddly bonus – the animal park with rabbits and hens. A creative touch – wood sculptures, made by local artists: from big apples to our good-hearted giant Dolomiticus.

Refreshing Aperitifs

All you need on a hot day
Getting hot? It's time to try one of the refreshing aperitifs in our bar! The choice ranges from the classics, such as Aperol Spritz and Hugo, to the authentic creations of Piz Arlara, like Zenzo, based on ginger. Yet a glass of South Tyrolean sparkling or white wine is also a perfect pairing to the breath-taking view from the terrace and from the relaxation area!

Relaxation Area

A joy for body and mind
After a pleasant hike in the mountains it’s even more pleasant to afford some well-deserved relaxation… Preferably on a sun lounger… With a glass of ice-cold beer… Mmmm… And perhaps with a stunning panorama before the eyes… Let us say, over towering peaks and flowered meadows, crowned by the glacier of Marmolada… Hey, but that’s the relaxation area of the Piz Arlara Alpine Restaurant in Alta Badia! Just enjoy!
