Ambience: traditions and modern charm

A warm welcome for everyone

The 360-degree view is simply gorgeous: Marmolada, Boè, Sassongher, Sass dla Crusc, Lavarella, Conturines – the most famous and, at the same time, the most beautiful peaks of the Dolomites follow each other in a panorama that sweeps till the glaciers of the Alps on the border with Austria. In the Piz Arlara Alpine Restaurant that overlooks Corvara from its 2040 m a.s.l. this is an everyday view. You can contemplate it from the large windows of the two main dining rooms, from the adjacent Bistro L'Pom and, of course, from the spectacular outdoor terrace. Here the spirit of the mountains is so much in the air that it seems to enter from the windows and spread in the entire restaurant, featuring the original colours and materials of the Dolomites, first of all wood and stone, that are harmoniously combined both outside and inside.

Fireplaces, soft light and Tyrolean-style fabrics evoke the atmosphere of a mountain chalet, making the ambience extremely cosy during the day and amazingly romantic in the afternoon, when the setting sun disappears behind the Gardena Pass, launching the Enrosadira performance on the Fanes ridge. A perfect context for abandoning oneself to the exciting flavours of the Ladin cuisine... for sipping an aperitif with friends and sharing the holiday emotions... and for enjoying every single moment spent here with the loved ones!

Panoramic terrace

Sun, views and relaxation in the open air
The marvellous view over iconic Mount Marmolada, also known as the Queen of the Dolomites, is undoubtedly one the advantages of our outdoor terrace. Here, among big dining tables, sun loungers and rustic barrels that act as bar tables you can soak up the lively, joyful and friendly atmosphere of a mountain hut. Ideal for groups of friends! But also for families, especially in summer when right in front the terrace there is an ample playground for children, having fun under the watchful eye of our good-hearted giant Dolomiticus.

Main restaurant

Two generations, two styles
The authentic part of the Piz Arlara Restaurant, distinguished by traditional charm and by a typical Tyrolean stove in the centre, creates a pleasant contrast with the second part, completely renovated, uniting modern style with ancient wood, originating from South Tyrolean barns. Both spaces are fluid and intimate, yet open and communicating with each other, with carefully chosen interior details that fully express their character.

Bistro L'Pom

Young and creative
In Ladin L'Pom means "apple" (as you can guess from two wooden sculptures on the terrace and from numerous indoor hints). A symbol of simple and genuine flavours but also a reference to young Melanie (in Italian apple sounds as "Mela"), who runs the Bistro with enthusiasm and competence. L'Pom is open during the winter season only and is a perfect place for a lunch break on the ski slopes, as well as for an aperitif with a breath-taking view of the Dolomites. Wood interiors, large windows and a lovely fireplace make the ambience not only characteristic and attractive but also hospitable and cosy.
